• Thursday 8 January 2026 to Thursday 5 February 2026 – Full closure M50 eastbound between M50 junction 4 and M50 junction 2.

• Thursday 5 February 2026 to Thursday 5 March 2026 – Full closure M50 westbound between M50 junction 1 and M50 junction 2.

• Thursday 5 March 2026 to Thursday 2 April 2026 – Full closure M50 eastbound between M50 junction 2 and M50 junction 1.

• Tuesday 7 April 2026 to Tuesday 14 April 2026 – Full closure westbound between M5 junction 8 and M50 junction 1 including full closure of M5 northbound junction 8 exit slip.

• Tuesday 14 April 2026 to Saturday 18 April 2026 – Full closure M50 eastbound between M50 junction 1 and M5 junction 8 including full closure of M5 northbound junction 8 entry slip.

Please note, during the Christmas period from Monday 22 December 2025 to Monday 5 January 2026 there will be no closures or diversions in place.

During our full closures, the following diversion routes will be in place:

M5 Junction 8 – M50 Junction 2 diversion
Junction 4 diversion
Eastbound and Westbound

M50 Junction 2 – M50 Junction
Eastbound and Westbound

Emergency vehicles will have access throughout.

We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.
