The Parish Council has been made aware of the following planned event, and the organizers are in the process of liaising with parish councils and local residents in affected areas, to provide information and answer questions.
The proposed event is due to run through a small section of the Brampton Abbotts and Foy parish, within Hole-in-the-Wall, on the second day.
There is an information event planned, and local residents are encouraged to attend and view the proposed event and route and take the opportunity to ask the organizers for any clarification that they require.

Cheltenham Motor Club has applied to Motorsport UK for an Event Organising Permit to organise and promote a Stage Rally on roads closed for the purpose under the powers provided for in the Road Traffic Act 1988 Section 12(1A) as amended by Section 73 of the Deregulation Act 2015.
Motorsport UK is one of the two motor sport governing bodies appointed in SI 2017 No:390, The Road Traffic Act 1988 (Motor Racing)(England) Regulations 2017, for this purpose, the other being the Auto Cycle Union. Motorsport UK is the UK Governing Body for 4 wheeled motorsport, recognised by the FIA (Federation International de l’ Automobile) the world governing body.
