Have your say on Herefordshire’s future Parking Strategy

Herefordshire Council is inviting people to take part in a consultation on its new Parking Strategy (2026–2041), which is now open until 03 June 2026.

The strategy sets out a long-term approach to parking across the county and plays an important role in supporting town centre vitality, improving accessibility, encouraging sustainable travel, and ensuring parking provision meets the needs of residents, businesses and visitors.

We want to hear from as many people and organisations as possible, including local businesses, transport providers, community groups, healthcare services, schools, tourism organisations and accessibility representatives.

The consultation covers a wide range of themes including:

* town centre parking and local economic activity
* parking for residents and visitors
* accessibility and disabled parking provision
* school safety and community impacts
* freight, deliveries and operational needs
* the use of technology and future parking systems

Your feedback will help shape a strategy that is fair, practical and future-focused, reflecting how people live, work and travel across the county.
