Successful Cake Club Fund-Raiser Funds Emergency Equipment for Local Residents

On 13th April, the Cake Club Coffee Morning was held in aid of buying a Bleed Kit to go with the Defibrillator in the village telephone box.

The event was a huge success, and in addition to the funds required to purchase the bleed kit, they have also kindly donated £150 towards the ongoing costs of maintaining the defibrillator (which is owned and managed by the parish council)

These funds will be ring-fenced within the parish council accounts, to ensure that they are used only for costs associated with the defibrillator, which may include replacement pads, batteries, repairs, servicing or replacing of the machine if this becomes necessary.

The parish council is extremely grateful to receive this donation, and appreciates the time and enthusiasm necessary to run events of this kind.

If you would like to support the Cake Club, the next coffee morning event is due to take place on Saturday 28th Sept to coincide with the MacMillan national event.
