The parish council, along with the County Council and other authorities and organizations in Herefordshire, have become increasingly aware of worrying levels of phosphates in the waters of the River Wye.
The river is an extremely important asset, and the parish council is therefore keen to understand the current issues, as well as how they may be resolved.
We are extremely grateful to Herefordshire CPRE, who have kindly agreed to attend the next parish council meeting on Tuesday 22nd March 2022 at 7.00pm, to give a presentation and answer any questions that councillors, residents or local land-owners may have. This meeting will be held at Upton Bishop Millennium Hall.
The parish council considers this to be a valuable opportunity for local people to come together and if possible, find an approach to influence future decisions relating to the health of the river.
We invite you attend the parish council meeting so that you may be fully informed, and contribute to this important discussion.
