Councillors are summoned to attend a meeting of the parish council, to be held at Upton Bishop Millennium Hall, on Tuesday 22nd March 2022 at 7pm for the purpose of transacting the business identified on the agenda below.

C22/34                    Highways / Footpaths / Greenspaces / Environment (15 minutes)

a)  To consider any highway/footpath issues to be reported to BBLP/HC.

b)  To consider verge cutting proposals for 2022

c)  To consider correspondence received from a member of the public (via Cllr. Durkin) regarding the Hole-in-the-Wall bridge.

d)  To consider update regarding a request for dead trees to be felled along a PRoW.

e)  To consider update on tasks for the Lengthsman and agree any actions.

f)  To consider the Drainage Grant and agree whether any locations could be suggested.

C22/35                    Lengthsman P3 Scheme – to consider the scheme for 2022 and respond to HCC accordingly

C22/36                    Laptop / Website / Email / Software provision – Council to consider update from the IT expert and consider actions, including but not limited to MS Office 365, .gov web address, anti-virus software, hosting provider.

C22/37                    Platinum Jubilee – Council to consider any update on parish events and agree any necessary actions.

C22/38                    Annual Parish Meeting – Council to agree the date and other requirements for the APM

C22/39                    Correspondence – general – Council to receive and note, and agree actions where necessary

a)  Herefordshire Council & BBLP – various updates relating to news items on the HCC website, and highways updates.

b)  West Mercia Police – details of the Smart Water project, which encourages parish councils to purchase kits for at least 80% coverage of their residents. WMP will then supply parish-wide signage

c)  Ward Cllr. Durkin’s monthly report (March)

d)  Ride Across Britain – notification of the route for 2022, which will run through the centre of Brampton Abbotts & Foy on Monday 12th September

e)  Community Litter Pick – carried out by the Cake Club at the start of March

C22/40                    Correspondence – Consultations – Council to consider and agree any response

a)  Herefordshire Council

    1. Health and wellbeing impacts of intensive poultry farming – consultation runs until 25th March
    2. Environmental Building Standards Supplementary Planning Document consultation runs until 13th
    3. Have Your Say on how Traffic Regulations are Enforced – Consultation runs until 15th April
