C1273, ROSS ROAD, BRAMPTON ABBOTTS , HEREFORDSHIRE
TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2022
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council intend, under the provisions of Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the road mentioned below:
The C1273, Ross Road, Brampton Abbotts, outside numbers 53 – 93. Grid Ref : 360359/226023
The said closure is required due to pole testing works being carried out on or near the said road, and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.
There are exemptions in the Order to permit pedestrian access (and/or vehicular access at the discretion of the Herefordshire Council or statutory undertaker) to any land or premises having a frontage to the above said highway affected where there is no other form of access, and to any access allowing the necessary works to be undertaken
The said closure will come into force on the 23rd of March 2022 and will remain for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) or until any said works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, (whichever is the earlier), or until determined by Herefordshire Council. However the works are expected to be completed within 1 day approximately.
