Further to the recent siting of road closure signs relating to a scheduled road closure from 22nd – 24th January, we can provide the following information:
The purpose for the road closure is for Severn Trent to provide a new water connection to a single new house.
Balfour Beatty have advised that there will be access for properties, although this may be subject to clearing machinery from the road, so there may be some delay and this will be unavoidable.
We have made them aware of the fact that this is the only road into the main village and they are going to chase up Welsh Water as letters with the full details should have gone out to all affected properties.
